This is a question DIY disasters

I just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.

Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

Tell us of your own DIY disasters.

My friend once made a rather cool looking wallet out of Duct tape
We even came up with a brand name for him, from that point on he was forever known as

'El Chubbio Chuff Chenko'

It was the best Italian sounding designer name we could think of.

Also fixes windows
ones that have fallen out due to the frames being rotten through and not being looked after by the landlord.

I think even the letting agent hadn't heard of that happening before.

2 things that should be in every toolbox
Duct tape and WD40.

One for sticking things that should be stuck together, and one for unsticking things that shouldn't be. What more could anyone need?
