I realise this may not be of much usebut tweezers and tcp are the perfect way to ensure your skin stays clear if you're prone to spots - even at the red irritating lump stage, break skin, extract white pus with tweezers, apply TCP on a cotton bud if you wish, and you won't be able to tell it was there in a few hours. I don't get many spots, but not once have I had one scar after doing this.
