This is a QotW answer has anyone heard of Idiocracy?
its a very funny and puts across some very good question of where the human race is heading.

shame it was restricted upon its launch... i reckon it could have done very well, had it not been taking the piss out of the audience it was aimed at.

youve gotta love the idea...

the fact that the worlds avg IQ is getting lower because dumb people dont know how to use use protection where as highly intelligent people are being careful on when the right time to have kids.

This is a QotW comment I'm with Scrumpy on this one...
I watched it on On Demand a few weeks ago, figuring it had a semi decent cast so it couldn't be that bad.

Oh, how wrong I was.

I agree that the concept of the film is good. It just struck me that the people it was trying to take the piss out of were the people making the film.

Luke Wilson and Dax Shepherd are better than that!

This is a QotW comment Brilliant concept, disappointing execution.
I reckon getting the restricted release was the best thing that could have happened to that film. It made everyone want to go see it, because it became known as the film "they" didn't want you to see. If it had just been released normally, it would probably just dies a quiet death.
