What a great thing to do.However, I know someone who has gone through the same thing, also at 21 years old, and although it's a great thing you're doing for your dad, I think it's very important that you just have a little time for yourself every once in a while. Go dancing, go for a drink. Even if it's only once a month...
I hope your dad isn't in too much pain / discomfort and that you can still share great moments together.
