This is a question Little Victories

I recently received a £2 voucher from a supermarket after complaining vociferously about the poor quality of their own-brand Rich Tea biscuits, which I spent on more tasty, tasty biscuits. Tell us about your trivial victories that have made life a tiny bit better.

I'll admit, I thought you meant the throwing-jobby.
This coffee maker sounds odd though -- what, exactly, is wrong with gritty coffee and surely it costs more using this since you have to replace the filter every time?

Nothing wrong with gritty coffee, per se.
I just don't like it, that's all.

The instruction manual says that the filters can be rinsed (gently) and reused, but the filters cost roughly a penny each so I don't bother.

We rinse the filter
Each one lasts about two weeks of 4 or so uses a day.

You goits!
I am now seriously considering purchasing one of these coffee-making jobbies.
