Don't know, don't care

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:45, Reply)
Like that is it.
I thought you were looking forward to meeting the shut in collective.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:48, Reply)
I am
I'd like to think they might be looking forward to meeting me too.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:51, Reply)
Who are you most looking forward
To meeting?
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:53, Reply)
I would say you, obviously
But I've already had that pleasure.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:56, Reply)
I mean new people!

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:59, Reply)
All of them!
Or not.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:03, Reply)
I am
I'm hoping it's going to be a really good bash.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:02, Reply)
berk.
Lower your expectations.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:33, Reply)
Now lower them some more.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:33, Reply)
How low can you go?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:35, Reply)
Put it this way.
The cider boat sounds a lot better on paper than it is in reality!
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:37, Reply)
You need to see my local!

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:38, Reply)
hahaha.
To be fair, the cider boat isn't at all bad. If you like cider.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:41, Reply)
Symposium - my local - is quite clearly a converted shop
But I love it. Trouble is they have free wi-fi access so I can work there whilst drinking.

Or drink there whilst working.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:46, Reply)
Well, if it means you never miss that important e-mail....

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:53, Reply)
I have never been to a disappointing bash
admittedly, the last one I attended was more of a gathering of middle-aged men and that was a touch bizarre, but still. Plus I like really like Bristol just as a place to have a good wander round in.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:15, Reply)
it's like a collection of 40 year old truckers called Dave

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:17, Reply)
Hang on.
Are you calling me and Stunned 'bizarre' or have you been to another bash since?
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:20, Reply)
I felt a bit like you'd hired me for the evening
but I got a free kebab and you allowed me to have the spare bed in a very gentlemanly manner, so I'm not complaining.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:31, Reply)
At what point did you feel 'hired'
I only asked you to do squat thrusts once - and you didn't like it. So we settled on Star-Jumps.

And after that kebab, you said you needed the work out.

I'm quite offended by this 'hired' comment.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:36, Reply)
Could you not collaborate on a West Country weekend?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 20:51, Reply)
they are bitter, bitter rivals

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:07, Reply)

I have a lakeside mansion at Yalta
They could talk it over.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:10, Reply)
Oh man, I just looked in the calender and then on the train tickets and erm maybe is there any cheap b'n'bs that won't knick all my stuff?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:16, Reply)
In Bristol?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:19, Reply)
Yah', looks alright.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:41, Reply)
there's a youth hostel

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:20, Reply)
Nah', I want my own toilet and my room.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:43, Reply)
Well give me an idea of how much you are happy spending and I'll see what I can find for you.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:43, Reply)
Is about 50 fair?
I'm not 100% behind this, I'm supposed to be saving at the moment and am really short, but on the same note, I ain't been away on a holiday or a big social outting this year, and could do with the break and lols.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:48, Reply)
You won't be charged based on your height! :-)
The Clifton Hotels group (linked below) can probably do you a en suite room for a lot less, and if you're getting the train in, a four quid bus ticket will get you to your hotel and then down to the cider boat as and when you're ready.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:52, Reply)
coolio, I'll have to have a think on it, see how it goes.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:00, Reply)
The longer you leave it, the more expensive it'll likely get.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:02, Reply)
Yah', deffo.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:13, Reply)
I had a look at The Washington can do you a single room for £44 with a bathroom
Although you should double check that.

But if you want to check the location of a hotel before booking, let me know, you don't want to be spending fifty quid on cabs to get there and back to your hotel again.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 22:17, Reply)
Are you saying you don't want top come to Bristol and meet me?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:52, Reply)
Bloody hell b3th.
I'd almost convinced Gonz to come, and then you butt in!
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:53, Reply)
Wait, what? aren't you going?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:54, Reply)
b3th'll be there!
Which is a bit like Jim'll Fix It! Only different.
(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:56, Reply)
What's your budget Gonz?

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:34, Reply)
I donno, whatever is average.

(, Sun 1 Apr 2012, 21:43, Reply)
I'll get you some options.

www.laterooms.com/en/p1301/pv080602a/k16281449_bristol-hotels.aspx

From that list, The Bristol (top link) is a resonable price, but if you want to save a few quid, and are happy either getting a bus from your hotel to the cider boat or spending about 7 quid on a cab, then there are often good deals with www.cliftonhotels.com/ - Blousie has use that hotel group in the past and wasn't unhappy with it.
