Morning Poppet
Work today, then pub with mates tonight.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:26, 1 reply, 12 years ago)
You're always in debt, yet also always in the pub, imagine that eh

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:35, Reply)
Yep.
And I'm getting out of debt, and will be clear in a couple of months time. Isn't that nice?
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:36, Reply)
Pretty stupid. For a single mid twenties male with no dependants or responsibilities to spend every post banging on about either being in debt or being out on the lash is fairly retarded.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:45, Reply)
Are you single Rory?

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:50, Reply)
You've upset him now you heartless bastard.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:01, Reply)
Are you coming on to me?

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:02, Reply)
I just wanted to make sure you weren't being a LOLhypocrite.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:26, Reply)
Note that my posts of the last few months have been about getting OUT of debt
And I'm still in better financial shape than most others my age paying off student loans, etc.

But hey, why let the truth get in the way of a good story?
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:50, Reply)
How much debt were you in?
I owe the bank £149,000, I hope thi makes you feel better
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 8:58, Reply)
I owe the government about... $40,000 so far cos of my student HECS debt.
By the time I graduate it should be about $80-90k.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:01, Reply)
C'mon now poppet, stop exasurating, you owe the goverment about $40,000 AUS" or whatever they use to denote your _real_ currency.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:59, Reply)
Never gone over £1,000, but whilst trying to shift that, I was still getting bank charges, etc and paying off other debts
Am now down to an overdraft, and I should be out of that in the next coupld of months
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:02, Reply)
£1,000 isn't debt
it's an annoyance
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:04, Reply)
Always hated it being there, just looking forward to being rid of it.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:06, Reply)
Woop!
Today is payday! Just realised
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:06, Reply)
If you think about it, that's only twenty square metres of oak flooring

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:07, Reply)
They have a degree to show for it and better job prospects
You've managed the same only without the education
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:04, Reply)
I have 5 1/2 years experience in an up and coming private sector company.
That stands me in pretty good stead.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:05, Reply)
This^
I'd take someone on with experience over someone with none and a degree
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:07, Reply)
But would you take AA on?

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:09, Reply)
If i needed someone to un pick worsted wool from the looms then yes

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:10, Reply)
Children are better for that sort of work.
They can get into the more awkward, dangerous parts of the machine.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:13, Reply)
Hahaha

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:13, Reply)
Double gruel rations for you boy

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:16, Reply)
Woo hoo!

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:19, Reply)
Rearranging the stock cupboard and changing ink cartridges is cutting edge shit AA. Spending over five years at the same place doing that labels you as a retard
Thank god Congleton is a tech valley otherwise you'd find your choices somewhat limiting.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:10, Reply)
Again Rory, you show that you don't let the truth get in the way of a good story, and your delusion should be congratulated, and nurtured
You could well be this nation's Dan Brown.

I deal in data management and manipulation. Stock cupboard and toner changing is another part of my job, which takes at most about 10 minutes a week. Also, as I've said several times, I don't live in Congleton.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:12, Reply)
Sorry, you live in a different loser town, I'll get that right next time

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:15, Reply)
Are you Jeremy Kyle irl?

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:06, Reply)
are you calling Rory a wobbly foreheaded cunt

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:08, Reply)
i'll let you decide that.

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:11, Reply)
Listen man, it's a slow day on the bored
somebody has to do something to get it going
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:12, Reply)
why don't you offer everyone internet tea and cake?

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:14, Reply)
*GLOMPS*

(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:17, Reply)
I have always admired your work. Being mean is easy,
Being mean and supporting it with harsh truths is a skill.
(, Thu 31 May 2012, 9:14, Reply)
I never get thanks for it either
