This is a question What's the hardest you've tried to get dumped?

Groovypoodle writes, "My mate once told his girlfriend that he didn't think it was working only for her to laugh and tell him he was hilarious. Saying she was 'too weird' and 'slightly violent' and that he didn't like her was equally hilarious. Ripping off her wing mirror, throwing it through the windscreen
and storming off in a huff merely generated an apology from her a week later..."

Just how hard have you had to work to get someone to take the hint and stay dumped?

well
just think of all the shitty things you can say about him on the QOTW's to come.

Well
actually he's a really nice guy who did the right thing by breaking up with me as soon as he realised he didn't feel the same as me, which kind of makes it worse cos I can't call him a cock or get angry with him! Ah well life goes on and we'll still be really good friends and who knows who I'll meet next! Nobody described in this QOTW, I hope!!!

the 'doesnt really feel the same as me' thing
Is it really that big a deal? Do I have to love her? Can't I just respect her and treat her nice etc? My lady friends think she loves me and I should break up with her but I dont see why. Your advice, please...

Does he post on here?
If so, we can find out how he did it ;)

bazmorningstar
If you are respecting her and treating her nicely but not leading her on in anyway (as in, no mentions of the L or M word)and like being around her and aren't thinking about anyone else I guess it's ok. That's what I don't get about my ex, we weren't too serious, just nicely pottering on together enjoying each others company and seeing where things went and then he decides he doesn't want to any more? I've given up trying to understand people.
