A hydropoolis basically warmed water in a contained space that animals can use in order to alleviate pain in. Usually for joint and muscle pain, but also good for after spinal ops and cruciate ops.
Where I worked before it was a swimming pool about 3 ft deep and the person had to get in as well, but now it's more controlled, about 4 ft long, 2 ft wide and has a running machine type base and fills up with water to the required height and the animal is encouraged to keep walking.
