This is a question Money-saving tips

I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Actually...
Although my original Saloon (with the ludicrous spoiler) kept falling apart I loved it so much I bought a brand new hatchback version (slightly less boy racer looking) for 13k... About 3 weeks before MG went bust.

Fortunately in the following 4 years I had Zero problems with it whatsoever.. apart from when I stuffed it into the back of some fucker who thought it would be a good idea to stop on the exit of a roundabout to let some van out from a sideroad.

Took 3 months to source a replacement bonnet.

That 3 months made me decide to replace it but Mercedes gave me about 3k part ex for it after 4 years and I wished I'd have kept it a few more years tbh.

It wasn't a bad car
but man was it noisy inside. Driving on a motorway was ridiculous.

Actually the biggest problem was the insurance. It was just a crappy rover with a bodykit, but the premiums got over £600/year. That's for a 40+ driver with no points, claims accidents or any other load factor.

Fortunately I only had to go on the motorways about once a year
The rest was driving on twisty A & B roads which was a hoot with that lovely V6.

I've got a 230bhp BMW now and I'd swap it for the MG anyday.
