I used to work in a supermarket where the girl on the deli counter cut off the top of her finger in the meat slicer, but was made to finish her shift before going to hospital. Free live yeast!
Due to some old bylaw or othersuch nonsense many supermarkets with in-store bakeries will give you free yeast.
