On the one occasion we took my family to the US..... my father got quite fed up with being asked if we were from Australia (we are from the UK).
We were therefore quite impressed to be told by a young waitress "You guys are from Europe right?". We confirmed that this was indeed the case before sadly she went on to ask "So is that Europe, England or Europe, Australia?".
We gave up.
