My catWas run over a couple of years ago, survived, but had to be put down. I mourned more for him than I did for the loss of my Grandparents.....not sure if that is weird or not but he was part of my family that I’d see every day. My partners Grandmother died around the same time and she loved cats so we have decided that he is with her, sitting on her lap in the afterlife. Made it easier on me thinking about that. I share your pain but remember he had a good innings and a good life.
