Interestingly enough...I did a similar thing in the Winchester area whilst I was at college a few years ago. I made up an emo band called "My Yesterdays Wednesday", and even booked them into a regular pub-haunt of me and my chums to sit and watch the emos turn up amidst great comments such as "I was friends with the guitarist" and "I liked them when they were playing their first gigs, before they were commercial" :/
