You're only joking, but...My GF spent a couple of happy years in nurses accomodation in Sheffield. One of the outstanding moments was observing a new girl (first time away from home etc) cooking bacon under the grill. Every few minutes she pulled the grill out and nipped at the bacon with a pair of scissors. Why?
