Adobes' excuse was that fireworks is much better for making gifs so they dumped image ready and forced people to buy yet another adobe product. So when I upgraded I kept my copy of CS2 handy, for this exact reason.

you can still do gifs in photoslopbut i wasnt sure how to import them. :)
