no they aren'tmany terminal storage sites which were deemed safe some decades ago (determined by companies which profit from storing nuclear waste for politicians who profit from providing them with public contracts) proved to be leaking 'a bit' under recent inspection. into the ground water, no less. which people drink, irrigate fields with, etc... hardly 'utmost caution'.
