Not the first time QI has been wrong this series eitherLast month, they repeated and thus gave extra credence the quite incorrect 'Dogs are worse than SUVs' meme, which originates from a PR release, widely reported churned out by the news last year, for a sensationalist environmentalist book called 'Time to Eat the Dog'. This article explains why the estimates, assumptions and calculations that the authors used were wrong and this is the blogpost that I published after watching that particular episode of QI.
