I got given one of those by Autodesk after a CAD course
plugged it in and got a warning message about how it was drawing too much power and had malfunctioned.

I used to work for Autodesk.
Fantastic company to work for. You could bring your pets into work, wear what clothes you wanted, free lunch, free booze and takeaway of Fridays.
I was doing Y2k work at the time and was flying all over Europe for them. THey put me in £200 a night hotels and paid for all my booze and food. I even got them to pay for the 'pay TV'.
