It has indeedgot silver slippers. I read it to my kids the other night. It also involves Dorothy using a special cap to summon the winged monkeys after killing the wicked witch, who rules over a country called 'Winkie' (I am not making this up). There is also a journey to take Dorothy home involving the lion killing giant spiders and tin man chopping up feral animals.
