The video is fantastic.It looks like a beloved but now senile, family retainer than no one has the heart to take out to pasture. Just at the wrong moment he gets free and totters around the hall looking for a billiards room that hasn't existed since 1947. :P
EDIT: Either that or there's a second guy with the other one and Phillip has demanded they bring his really big chopsticks to the banquet as there may be forrin food.
