# The boss' husband** has a drawer full of old laptop chargers
the wires are so tangled, it could function as a net to catch a falling elephant.

**this is a guy who thinks I'm obsessive because I neatly wrap all of my cords :/

# I got an electric shock from my laptop this morning.
Not having much luck with it. Bought it second hand. I had to get a new battery as it wouldn't charge and had to buy a new charger when the cable coming out of the box caught fire!

it doesnt matter if you wrap them, next time you want one they will be all tangled together regardless, its just the way it is. someone does it in the dead of night.

# Every profession I've held for the past 31 years has involved wire, rope & cabling
All of that wisdom and still a rogue conductor with an unruly twist causes me to curl up in a fetal position and sob like a 15 girl who has just suffered her first breakup.

I still have to unplug the phone at my desk and let gravity untwist the handset cord -- there is truly some unexplainable dark force at work there.

# Yeah my first few months working in audio was pretty much making tea and rolling cables.
