# there's a youtube vid
somewhere of the guy who made the stormtrooper helmets I remember watching but he had all the equipment and a plastic vacuum setup. I can imagine if you nail it and are able to make a few you could have a setup flogging them, the fact they're so hard to make will make them more desirable. if ameobaboy pops up he'll have loads of good advice

# I think there might be a vacuum forming booth at my uni.
If the price is reasonable I'll give it a go, make the final design look a bit more professional.

And there are people out there selling Daft Punk helmets they've made, but for hundreds of pounds a piece. :S

I was really hoping to get it done tonight, but with no helmet to build around, it'll have to wait till tomorrow :( I guess I could ask someone in 3D design or technology about it; I went down there to ask if I could have it 3D printed, but it'd cost WAY too much.

I do plan to have each segment cut out on plastic/lino using the laser cutter; I downloaded a net of sorts, and tried it out with thin card. It definitely looks the dog's bollocks. :D
