# contagion was a bit disappointing
(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:14, archived)
# Doesn't look like I'd like it, to be honest.
Saying that, I tend to like films no-one else does. For example, I thought The Crazies (remake) was pretty damn good, but a lot of my friends thought it was a bit meh.

# got that one myself
contagion wasn't bad, it just didn't show anywhere near enough gore or symptoms of illness for me.

# Ohhh, is it one of those "rage" zombie films?
I personally LOVE 28 Days Later, because it was the first (and best) to do it.
(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:29, archived)
# no, just a disease film
people get sick and die, then they stay dead. it's like a shit version of outbreak, but with more monkeys

# Wow... that sounds really dull.
No zombies or anything? Psh...

I'll tell you what a good zombie film is; [REC.] is brilliant. It's a Spanish "found-footage" film. I think the Yanks remade it, Quarantine or something. Nowhere near as good as the original. ;)

# not seen [REC], but i've got quarantine
it is a bit cack

# [REC.] is the original Spanish version.
Sure, it's subtitled, but it's acted and paced a lot better than Quarantine.

# that's another one to add to the list, then
one film i can't stop touting is the boneyard. discovered it accidentally and absolutely love it!

# The Boneyard... can't say I've heard of that one.
*Wikis* Direct-to-video film made in 1991?

Reading the synopsis, it does sound interesting. I may have to keep an eye out for it.

# that's the one
creepy as fuck in parts, but with a very unexpected wet-your-pants laughing bit

# I like older shot-on-video horror films, they have a really creepy vibe to them.
I'm REALLY going to have to look for it now :)
