Gaussian blur, not a lot, 250 feather then fresh selection a bit out and repeatDrastic increase in blur a bit out makes the thin depth of field bit look even closer. Edit a large pic and reduce size when finished. Just like in a real pic, the depth of field really is at the same distance from the camera all through the image.
