cheers!I've been playing around with my new camera that I got myself for christmas. 12MP Canon -- it's a point-and-shoot, but i found an open-source firmware that allows me to do all of the nice raw images, time lapse, and manual overrides.
I've been playing a lot with manual noise reduction (shoot 16 shots raw, process as clean as possible then blend all 16 images into one virtually noise-free (even in the dark) image). I have been getting very sharp results. If you haven't tried it, do it NAO
