Marriage wasn't invented by Christianity, it pre dates it by thousands of years.Also, in ancient Greece it wasn't uncommon to have same sex marriages.
But I have no idea why people want religions that frown on that sort of thing to marry them. Just invent your own version of that religion, that's what everyone has done historically because it's all made up bollocks anyway.
