The optical suggestions of the fez visually and conceptually activates the inherent overspecificity, leading to a sharp interrogation of the essential unreality of meaning. The juxtaposition with sea-life causes a painfully bittersweet activation of the sublime beauty of the bimorphic forms, forcing one to confront one's own huge manatee.
