I don't know if Inkscape is actually *hard*, or if it's just that I have so much GIMP practice that it seems that way by comparison.

I just have a VERYold edition of Photoshop and use the airbrush to make the pics, then various blurs and filters. It isn't even real Photoshop, it's a free limited edition I was given at work about 8 years ago.
