I play
vocals, but have experience playing violin, keyboards, guitar, synth, drums, cello, double bass, bass guitar and so on.
But i suck at all of the above.

sounds like you're pretty much sorted then :-) I'll listen to anything that isn't country and western, oprera, or most garage/R&B, as for playing. I'm in a Ska punk band, but it's always good to go afro cuban now and again :-)

Recording
my own black metal album soon, should be a laugh.
Doing everything myself, barring i might get one of my sound tech mates to mix it all down for me.
Trying to record a 30-40 minute album in a 4-5 hour studio slot, should be a laugh also.
