the pirate hat is always in my car.
i wear it most often in the infamous Boston, MA, traffic.

the key is to keep a straight face.

if someone sees you in a pirate hat just driving along, they WILL let you change lanes.

it works best if all your windows are closed - when it's an entirely visual experience, it makes it more fun
