Manyyears ago me and a friend who had some gerbils,decided to see how fast they could actually paddle.So taking one of those gerbil plastic ball things that you put them in to run about the floor,we decided to put it in a full bath.The poor thing was running up and down the bath until its small head was seen pushing up against the ball as it sank...you will be pleased to hear we did rescue it only to put it in a makeshift parachute made out of a carrier bag and then threw it down the stairs....
