True (and unpleasant) Christmas storyI went out boozing on Christmas Eve many years ago and drank several pints of bitter. Woke up the next day with one of the worst hangovers of my life. Stumbled around looking like a corpse for half an hour, until I went to the toilet and threw up.
I didn't bring up any of the bitter. I brought up the large gulp of advocaat & lemonade I'd had before I went out, and which must have sat in my gut whilst innumberable pints of booze washed past. Then my hangover vanished.
