more congressmenwould rather keep their jobs so they agree with the right wing maniacs.
And it is a fine balance, but there are better ways to protect a people than checking what people take out from the library, and sending people away longer for crimes against their country and making it easier for people to be convicted of those crimes

it's quite obviousthat the us government is using the events of the past few years and the resulting "fear" as an excuse to bang through all these heavy laws and restrictions which might seem now to be for "your own good" but will in the long run be, er, bad.
