.. of a comment made by Jasper Carrott about Dog Food. How come we buy our pets their food in the favours that *we* like? For example, we might like the idea of moist beef chunks in a rich gravy, but surely a dog would want cat-flavoured chunks of postman's leg?
(I know it ain't about cats, but I couldn't think of a cat-related example)

would much rather eat a succulent steak than a scrawny cat.
it just happens that the things that are most productive in meat-producing terms are also the things that we eat. hmm...
+ it means parts not used in preperation for human food can be used in pet food.
