Downloading software...isn't the same as regular theft, as they haven't lost a sale over it. A lot of people who download Photoshop don't have the £600 to buy a legal version, so even if it wasn't availible online they wouldn't have bought a copy anyway.

You're right, it's not the same as 'regular theft'. It's intelectual theft which is theft all the same. Don't tell me that nobody would be hurt if *everyone* downloaded PhotoShop.
It pisses me off to hear that excuse.
I've pirated Photoshop, but at least I take ownership of the fact that I'm stealing.
I do however, draw the line at giving out my home address in response to this post :)

As much as I love to play "download the software",that's a nonsense argument. I can't afford a Porsche, i'm never going to buy one, so I'll just go and take one, shall I?
