Not in my mind.I see the blank message as a perfectly valid form of expression.
Imagine if you were down the pub with your mates. Someone showed you a picutre and your response was a stunned silence, for what ever reason.
Blank posts are (IMO) the equivalent of that. Quite a compliment at times.
