PhD doctors are not medical doctors, you can have a PhD (Philosophy Doctorate) in any field. you can have PhD Doctors working in medicine, alot do, but they are not allowed to prescribe pharmaceuticals. The qual that the Compton U medical school would give out would probably be an MD as its in america. /pedant
