I respect that opinion

although my experience is that people of that opinion aren't usually properly informed... most often the decision is based on the people who they associate with anime, or the poor quality anime which is shown on tv 99% of the time (outside japan of course)

I really do mean the "mostly" there.

Some I like. I don't know if your pictures are classed as anime for instance, but I know that I think they're great.

well, i don't call my drawings anime,

anime in japanese just means "animation". I didn't think you were talking about peoples drawings directly, but things like movies and tv series.
