I taught bass to an absolute begginer today. It took me 25 mins to teach her basically everything she needs to know to play bass in a band, and play it from sheet music.

I taught bass to an absolute begginer today. It took me 25 mins to teach her basically everything she needs to know to play bass in a band, and play it from sheet music.
Must type something here or it complainsSome friends of mine were going on a tour to Prague playing Jazz when their Bass player had a minor disater.
Half an hour later I've learnt bass, got tickets sorted and was off the next day.
I suppose it helps playing a zillion other instruments and being generally a good musician*.
