I lied, I have broadband at home, but only on my old mans computer
and I cant be arse to network it all up. Also, I dont know how to....

plug the computers into a 10/100 network switch (about 20 quid for a decent one)
and set up Internet Connection sharing on pops`s computer; set the "gateway" on your machine to the address of his machine
-if you`re using windows anyway
total cost, about £30 including network cables, assuming both computers have network cards

.. or you could splash out on an ADSL modem/router combo box thingie (about £40-50 quid)
and you just plug all the computers into that via network cables; log onto the router via the web browser, set your ISP username/password crap, and off you go
hmm.. maybe I should go `round doing this for a living instead of being a hotel bellboy
edit: also, they`ll have in-built firewall and so on, so it`ll keep your network nice`n`safe from teh baddiez
