hm,well I have no idea, so I'm kind of talking out of my ass, but wasn't the idea that quantum particles do not exist until observed,and in observing them they are changed, or summat? As such, only until you open the box will the cat's fate be decided. This is silly. and that's the objection.

Like Heisenberg's uncertainty principle?You can either know their velocity or their position but not both... you can't measure one without disturbing the other
