best gig I`ve been to in years was Ben Folds (on his own) doing warm up for The Divine Comedy

he was brill

oh and Jack Lukeman who consistently blow(job)s me away live, but he`s a bit obscure - anyone who likes Scott Walker or Nick Cave should check him out
