nope, I think it's just the over-development that did ithanging out with my childhood best friend was kind of like have Huckleberry Finn as your best mate. We were always playing in the woods/creek.
I still see some cool snakes and frogs and stuff in the one really big park in our area.
edit: I've heard that too, but with turtles. The frogs aren't really doing too bad around here, I fish at least four out of our pool every summer and the ponds around here are always lousy with them. The turtles have kind of disappeared.

I had two conditions for our house.1.) A full basement.
2.) Woods.
I managed to get both. I've seen all kinds of stuff in my yard (a lot of which I haven't caught on camera). There have been oppossums, raccoons, and foxes, as well.
