Update: I think i've figured it out!!
To link to 20m.com, the file extension has to be '.jpg' or '.gif', and it MUST be lower case, otherwise it only works without a referrer. Weird.

it works if you type the image namein a blank browser window...so dunnno why its playing up on the board
