Yeah it's australian
but apparently it contains some ingredient that is ok in bread but unacceptable in other food under US food regs :-/. Saw it on the news the other day as they are confiscating it from australian travellers arriving in the US with it.

It's not banned
as the folate (or whatever it is) is natural, and not added.
I'd pull up the Snopes article if their site wasn't borked.
