this instantly makes me think of some japanese cartoonthey will vight valiantly until success is evident or defeat is total, all the time taunting each other with veiled pieces of information that they know about the other ones uncle who mysteriously dissapeared while exploring someplacealand but who was really doing top secret research for the government in order to defeat the ambiguously nefarious Dr Proffessor Sir Mr Nobodyreallyknowshisname who turns out is related both of the protagonists in the battle, but they do not know this yet, for now, the battle is set, and plastic toys and other merchandise must be milked dry until the series ends with no actual explanation of any of the events that have occurred thus far.
