travelling back from scotland at the weekend, the announcer excitedly barked "SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY... SUICIDE IN COVENTRY"poor bastard had been waiting for that train to turn up for weeks... he couldn't take it anymore.

totally innacuratethat appears to be moving
actually quite like the trains (since i travel on a, well two, virgin routes) but last week a signal box died near cheltenham so every train going to or from cheltenham directly north had to go all the way to berlin before being redirected.

um...I was sort of...thinking of the potential for experiencing death through negligence! as opposed to mere inconvenience!
