Bryce is a piece of piss. It is as powerful as you need it to be with the addition of Daz Studio. It's not the best for modelling as it's far from intuitive and clumpy to anyone who understands model building in a cad environment. Best to make your models in Maya and/or 3D Max but once imported to Bryce they are good to go. It's a great scene setter and 3D animator. ( get zBrush to texture your models. Just do )
