Yes, they would have made much better films.Couldnt be much worse than the MTV-popcorn rubbish AVP turned out to be.
Although I liked the scene with the thousands of aliens climbing up to the predators on top of a pyramid who then set off their nukes (but it lasts 30 seconds).
